We are so proud to announce that Womancraft Publishing was approached by US publisher and distributor Red Wheel/Weiser to distribute our books in the US and Canada. We were deeply honoured that the success of recent books such as Yoga for Witches and Kitchen Witch caught their eye.
We have been fans of their books for years and our US authors remember with fondness the Weiser bookstore, New York’s first and best occult and magical book store.
This is an incredible honour for us, and will mean our books will reach a much wider audience in North and Latin America, thanks to their established trade relationships with thousands of independent bookstores and magical shops as well as with major retailers such as Barnes & Noble bricks and mortar store, which previously, as a small European-based publisher, have been out of our reach.
As a reader nothing will change for you. Womancraft remains an independent publisher. All our books will be edited and produced here in Ireland by the Womancraft team. For US customers they will then be printed and distributed by Red Wheel/Weiser. Our books will still be available on all existing online platforms… and from February 1, 2024 from many more bookstores on the ground too. Signed copies will still be available to all US customers direct from the Womancraft Publishing website. All existing wholesale customers will be contacted individually later in the year and then transferred over to Red Wheel/Weiser from February 1, 2024.
Our first new title that will launch via their catalogue to all US stockists will be Lucy H. Pearce’s Crow Moon: reclaiming the wisdom of the dark woods.
